About the Company
Jabba Development Strategies, a woman-owned company located in Redwood City, California, launched in 2012 to provide guidance for developers in navigating the entitlements process and public policy through public affairs, community engagement, communications, and strategic planning. With years of nonprofit development experience and a passion for business and entrepreneurship, the company expanded to all four lines of business and is now a one-stop shop for bringing ideas to fruition across all business sectors.

With more than 20 years of cross-sector experience, Nori brings both big picture and detail skills to client projects and loves to help companies, organizations and projects grow and develop through strategic communications, planning, partnerships and relationships. Prior to starting Jabba Development Strategies, Nori worked as Director of Public and Community Affairs for a real estate developer and as a Business Analyst, Planning Analyst and Senior Real Estate Portfolio Manager for PG&E. She has an extensive network of key contacts and public officials throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and on the state and national level and was awarded Business Woman of the Year by the Redwood City-San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce in 2011.
As a dedicated community leader, Nori has volunteered for and helped support numerous community non-profits over the years and served on several boards and committees. Key areas of support include affordable housing, historic preservation, and education. An accredited new urbanist, Nori is passionate about placemaking and smart growth and holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from George Washington University and a B.A. from Grinnell College. She is a writer in her free time.

Paula Stinson, Director of Nonprofit Development
Paula Stinson has spent her career dedicated to humanitarian causes and nonprofit development and specalizes in private sector fundraising, video and online promotions, and event management.
Before joining Jabba Development Strategies, Paula spent 12 years as Director of Development, Communications and Community Building for HEART, the Housing Endowment and Regional Trust of San Mateo County, one of the only public-private trust funds for affordable housing development in the country. She managed the public face of HEART to a wide audience: elected officials and planning commissioners, city and county housing staff, corporate and foundation donors, developers, non-profits and service providers. She is passionate about smart growth and affordability.
Paula has also been a consultant to a number of peace and social justice organizations in the Bay Area, and worked in Washington DC as Vice President of Development for ANERA, an American nonprofit supporting development in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and Lebanon. Paula holds a B.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
